Certifications
Industry-recognized certifications are valued in the labor market and are a validation of knowledge and skill. In a high school CTE program of study, students can work towards an industry-recognized certification while they earn a high school diploma. This gives those students an opportunity to embark on a career right after high school. In many cases, these certifications can give students an advantage over other applicants in the job market or on a college application.
