Children & Families Commission of Orange County

The Newport-Mesa Unified Early Childhood Department is proud to partner with the Children and Families Commission of Orange County. Their School Readiness Initiative and other grants provide training for preschool teachers, parent education classes, health education and support for preschool children and families, and family literacy programs like Parent and Child Together (PaCT).

Orange County Department of Education & Quality Start OC

The N-MUSD Preschool Programs are proud to partner with the Orange County Department of Education and participate in QualityStart OC and the Quality Rating Improvement Systems. QualityStart OC sets standards for high-quality early learning and rates programs on a five-star scale. All of our Preschool Programs are currently four or five-star rated. Learning Link

Newport-Mesa Unified Early Childhood Education department in partnership with THINK Together is offering a free program for children 0-5 years of age. The program includes Early Education, Language Development, Parent/Child Interaction, Health and Wellness, and Family Support.
