HCPTA Meetings & Event Calendar 2018 - 2019

Harbor Council PTA meetings are held at the Newport Mesa Unified School District's Boardroom located at 2985 Bear Street Costa Mesa, CA 92626. The meetings commence at 9:00 a.m. and are not open to the public.  The HCPTA meetings are open to the current PTA Presidents and the Harbor Council Executive Board.  

Harbor Council's Last Meeting is on June 4, 2018.  Current Presidents, Incoming Presidents, and Executive Board Members are invited to attend.

All Harbor Council PTA meetings except December 3, 2018 and May 6, 2019 are held at Newport Mesa Unified School District, 2985 Bear St, Costa Mesa, CA  92626 in the Boardroom. Doors open at 8:30, and meetings commence at 9:00 am, ending approximately 11:00 am. Meetings are open to current PTA Presidents or representatives and the Harbor Council Executive Board.

The 2018- 2019 Reflections theme "Heroes Around Me" will spark imagination and creativity in school and at home.  Encourage your school to imagine, create, and celebrate.  Reflection entries are due at the November 5, 2018 Harbor Council PTA meeting. Congratulations Zarrar Zubair! Zarrar is the CA State PTA Reflections Winner in Film Production, Special Artist Division.  He attends Adams Elementary.


HCPTA ADVOCACY 2018 - 2019

February 25 and 26, 2019

PTA presidents be sure to include $650 per person into the 2018-2019  PTA budget for this event.  Parent and community volunteers travel to Sacramento to learn about and practice direct advocacy with California's elected officials.
